eDuties is an online service for solicitors, conveyancers and accountants (property professionals) who lodge assessment applications with Revenue NSW on behalf of their clients.
eDuties is used for complex or high-value transactions that cannot be processed in Electronic Duties Returns (EDR).
View a list of applications you can lodge via eDuties. You can also use eDuties to:
rectify errors in EDR assessments
lodge cancellation requests for EDR errors, and
apply for refunds and interest remissions.
If you only need access to eDuties follow the steps outlined on this page.
For example, your business may only need eDuties:
if it outsources assessment and payment of common transactions to a third-party agent, or
Australian Business Number (including supporting evidence).
Name and contact details for:
an Authorised Representative of your business (director, business owner or principal), and
an Account Administrator (the person who will be responsible for managing registration and users in your business).
A copy of your:
practising certificate if you are a solicitor or accountant, or
conveyancing licence if you are a conveyancer.
Evidence of current membership to professional institutions (e.g. The Law Society of NSW, CPA Australia, Australian Institute of Conveyancers, Institute of Public Accountants, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand).
