Unclaimed money

Sometimes, you don’t receive money owed to you because you have:

  • moved address
  • changed your name
  • lost the paperwork
  • forgotten about it.

In NSW, businesses and public sector superannuation funds send information to us about money owed to people they can’t find. In some cases, money is owed to someone who has died.

It’s our job to make this information available, so the money can be found and given to the right person.
