3. Duties verification errors

If the data in the Duties Notice of Assessment does not match the data entered in the ELNO workspace, the duties verification will not be successful. When this occurs an error code and message will be displayed in the ELNO workspace.

The ELNO settlement process cannot continue until the error is resolved. Check the data in the ELNO workspace against the Duties Notice of Assessment. If the error is on the ELNO workspace, correct the error and verify the duty again.

Adding or deleting property and transferee details

If party name or property details have been added incorrectly or omitted from the Duties Assessment, the assessment must be cancelled and re-processed. Revenue NSW cannot add or delete property and transferee details.

Read the Guide to cancelling EDR transactions for more information.

Data entry error/data mismatch

When there is a data entry error e.g. a typographical error, the error code displayed will help identify which data field is causing the mismatch.
