Legislative guidelines

Guidelines are issued under legislation administered by Revenue NSW, either by the Treasurer, the Minister for Finance or the Chief Commissioner.

Guidelines usually relate to decision-making powers and set out matters which must or may be considered in making a decision. They are periodically reviewed to ensure they remain relevant.
