It is important that you send correct information to Revenue NSW when requested.
This will help us to accurately assess how much tax you owe.
Land Tax Online provides a secure and private way to send documents and other information to us.
Who needs to upload
Upload documents in Land Tax Online when Revenue NSW requests more information from you. A Revenue NSW Case Officer may contact you for more information:
The Revenue NSW Case Officer will provide a due date for your new documents.
For clearance quote applications, ensure you have your clearance quote in time to arrange payment of the quoted amount as part of the disbursements of sale. Read apply for a clearance quote for more details.
Accepted file formats
Land Tax Online accepts the following formats:
PDFs.
Images (JPG, PNG).
Word documents.
Spreadsheets.
What you need to upload
Follow the instructions provided by the Case Officer. You will be told exactly what you need to provide.
For clearance quote applications, you need to supply the signed contract of sale.
How to upload documents
Tip
Make sure you have all your supporting documents ready before you log in to your Land Tax Online account.
In Land Tax Online, check your details then select Continue.
Select Manage land tax.
Select Upload documents.
Press Select files.
Choose the file(s) on your device you want to upload.
Check that all the documents you want to provide appear under Uploaded files.

Submit
Select Submit.
What happens next
After you update your land tax details, Revenue NSW will:
review all the information you provided, and
contact you if more information is needed, outlining when it is due.
Revenue NSW will notify you in writing or by phone if there are any changes to your tax liability. If your assessment changes, we will send you a new assessment notice.
Any payments you have already made will be applied to your new assessment. If you have a credit, we will issue a refund.
provide information that is false or misleading, or
deliberately avoid our requests for information.

The information may be provided to third parties with your consent, or as required, or permitted by law. We will correct or update your personal information at your request.
