Electronic Duties Return

An online platform for solicitors, conveyancers and accountants to manage a range of duties transactions.

On this page

Electronic Duties Returns (EDR) is a service offered by Revenue NSW to industry professionals such as solicitors, conveyancers and accountants which allows them to electronically assess a range of duties transactions and pay duty electronically.

Duties assessments are completed on a digital platform provided by a Client Service Provider (CSP), which allows the approved person to transact with Revenue NSW.

By using EDR you will:

  • be able to integrate with other e-Conveyancing platforms
  • have electronic payment options
  • be able to control all documents as they do not leave your premises
  • reduce your time and administration costs
  • improve your client service by delivering fast and efficient services.

Transactions not supported by EDR, must be lodged through eDuties.

The Duties document matrix (PDF, 509.03 KB) details the transactions supported by EDR. Please refer to the Matrix prior to transacting in EDR.

EDR is available:

  • Monday to Friday: 7:00am to 11:00pm
  • Saturdays: 7:00am to 2:00pm
