Pay your parking space levy

  • Pay now

Pay through our secure online service with your MasterCard or Visa credit card.

Payment options

We will assess the parking spaces you own and any exemptions. If you need to pay the parking space levy, you must choose to either:

  • pay in full by 1 September
  • pay in four equal instalments, with the first due by 1 September.

If you choose to pay by instalments:

  • we will send you an instalment notice before your next payment is due and
  • instalment payments are due by 1 September, 1 December, 1 March and 1 June.

Lodging your annual return

In July each each, we will send a letter to remind you to lodge your annual return on or before 1 September. When we receive your annual return we will send you an assessment with the amount you have to pay and how to pay it.

In the return, we’ll ask you for the following information

  • your client ID and correspondence ID
  • how many car spaces you own
  • how many spaces are exempt, unlet or unused, and documents to support this
  • details on property you own, including the date you took ownership and the SP or DP number (which appears on your land and council rate notice or Valuer General Notice of Valuation)
  • details of any property you sold in the last financial year
  • confirmation of your contact details (phone number and email address).
