If you are an Approval Holder for Electronic Duties Returns (EDR) you have an ongoing duty to report changes to your business.
Revenue NSW needs current information about your business because we may need to contact you for a compliance check.
We regularly review the qualifications of Approval Holders and conduct fit and proper checks to ensure their ongoing eligibility for EDR.
Select the details you want to change from the left menu. The options are:
Name details — the names of the people in your business who use EDR.
Address details — the addresses of your business (place of business, postal and location of records).
Contact details — the phone number, email address and mobile number of the people in your business who use EDR, and their contact type.
Online subscription service — if you are changing a contact person, it is important to ensure that the contact person is subscribed so that they can receive duties updates from Revenue NSW.
You do not have to go through each page if you only need to change details on a specific page.
A green message will confirm your changes have saved.
Select Print if you want a record of the change.
Existing EDR clients
If you did not initially register for EDR online, there may not be an EDR Approval Holder displayed.
One of the contacts must be an EDR Approval Holder. If you do not add an EDR Approval Holder, you will be prompted to add this contact before selecting Next.
When an EDR Approval Holder’s email is first added using the online form, they will receive an automatic email from Revenue NSW requesting email verification.
