Electronic Duties Returns (EDR) is an online service offered by Revenue NSW to approved solicitors, conveyancers and accountants.
When registered for EDR you can:
electronically assess a range of duties transactions for clients, and
pay duty electronically on behalf of clients.
When an EDR account must be closed
An EDR account must be closed when the Approval Holder:
retires or ceases to be a solicitor, conveyancer or accountant
sells the business to another entity
no longer meets the conditions for EDR approval
dies or is incapable of performing their professional role, or
