Scheduled maintenance
The Payroll tax online service will be unavailable between 9.00pm and 9.30pm on Wednesday, 21 November due to scheduled maintenance. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Please read the following information and ensure that you have all the necessary details before starting the online form.

Client details

  • client ID and correspondence ID. These are both printed on the top right of your payroll tax exemption review letter.
  • client name
  • contact name
  • contact number.

Details you need to provide to us

  • any changes to your organisation's name, since the exemption was approved. If the name has changed, you will need to provide the new name of the organisation

  • any changes to the organisation’s governing rules (specifically the organisation’s objects and/or non-profit status) since the exemption was approved. These include the organisation's:

    • constitution
    • rules
    • memorandum
    • articles of association.
  • if the governing rules have changed, you will need to send us a letter detailing the changes and supply a copy of your most recent governing rules.

  • any commercial activities undertaken by the organisation.

If you have all the required information, it should take you about 5 minutes to complete and submit this form.


The current version of our online form does not allow you to save your work and come back at a later time to complete the form. If you decide to exit the form before completing it, you will need to start again.
